Remuneration policy

Wolkers' remuneration policy has been designed to be prudent, controlled and sustainable and to be in line with Wolkers' strategy and risk tolerance, corporate values and business principles. In drawing up the policy the longer-term interests of Wolkers and its clients, the relevant international context and public support have been taken into account. This remuneration policy serves, among other things, to comply with the "Regeling beheerst beloningsbeleid Wft 2021" legislation. Together, these rules form the remuneration policy as it applies to Wolkers' categories of employees. The variable remuneration is set by the Executive Board.

Sustainability

At the implementation of its investment policy, Wolkers & Co does not take into account the EU-criteria with regard to the potentially adverse effects on sustainability. The reason is that we are not able to assess with a reasonable degree of certainty what the effects of portfolio construction on sustainability would be. As a result sustainability criteria do not have a specific priority in the construction of our clients portfolio’s. We assess the impact of sustainability risks on clients' portfolios. Part of our investment policy is to avoid or manage risks, including sustainability risks, as much as possible. By selecting investment funds that also invest in a diversified manner, risks ,including sustainability risks, can be prevented from leading to depreciation
